Having installed the GARD&ROCK anchoring bases flush in the ground (Ref 428-001 not included), you can easily insert the hammock post or posts. You can then arrange the layout of your terrain as you wish! It is particularly easy to clear your exterior area for upkeep or to store the product away in winter, for example.

☛ OUR ADVICE: embed the anchoring bases in different parts of your garden in order to be able to move your sunbed wherever you want: siestas in the shade, instant sun tanning, quiet reading or even evening drinks!

☛ Choosing a Hammock: It is important to get into it lengthwise to reduce the force exerted on the posts. In this case, we recommend using a single-bar hammock which can hold a maximum of one person.

Ideally we would attach a hammock to our trees. However, it is rare to have two that are strong enough and, above all, the right distance apart! The advantage of our system is that you can use a GARD&ROCK hammock post with a tree. The two elements go together allowing you to find the perfect place for your hammock!

☛ OUR ADVICE: Only install one post if you want to use your hammock with a tree. Otherwise, you will need two posts, which allow a stand-alone installation.

Resolutely innovative, GARD&ROCK posts used with their anchoring bases enable quick and stylish installation of hammocks in different parts of your property. You can install them on your lawn, your terrace, next to your swimming pool… Above all, and in contrast to standard hammock stands, there is no obstruction on the ground. Designed in France, made from anodised aluminium and chrome alloy, the GARD&ROCK hammock post (one person, maximum total weight 100 kg / 220 lb) is built to last. What’s more, its tilted angle not only makes it more solid, but also means it is perfectly adapted to both stone or green exterior spaces. You can also adjust the orientation of your post, inserted into its anchoring base, thanks to settings located in the post stand.

☛ OUR ADVICE: to ensure optimal fixing and notably in the case of insufficiently stable terrain, we recommend you seal the anchoring base according to the instruction guide which comes with the product. This will ensure a robust long-term installation while retaining its movable function.

It would be ideal to completely forget about our mobile phones when we’re relaxing in a hammock. But for a lot of us, it’s not quite so simple (-:. So, we have provided an integrated mobile phone holder located on top of the post so you can keep it nearby. You will be able to put your phone aside but it will still be accessible if you really need it!
